On Friday, April 2nd, Defend The Voiceless distributed Easter baskets and sack lunches to a local homeless shelter. What many don’t know is that one in five homeless youth is a victim of trafficking. We were honored to be able to provide a smile to each of these children and hope that, one day soon, their lives are filled with joy daily. Local businesses, who were a part of Easter Basket Blessings, were Hardee’s, Taco Bell, and Dollar General. Please support these businesses and please support an organization in this fight. If not DTV, there are plenty to choose from and some listed on our resource page. If you are not able to support an organization, please pray. Pray for the ones who bring awareness, the ones who investigate and find the children, the ones who rescue the children, but most of all, the precious children who have and are enduring this hell.
I especially appreciate that friends from Amplified Life Fellowship gave towards the effort.
